Fitech's fire protection direct release systems are simmilar to those offered by Fire Trace and utilize state of the art heat sensing tube as detection device & suppressant delivery. As the fire begins, the portion of the tube nearest the point where the most heat is detected ruptures, forming an effective spray nozzle.

The pressure will then drop as the Fitech tube releases the entire contents of the cylinder through the distribution nozzle to effectively suppress the fire. More than one Fitech tube can be used enabling the system to cover more area. Our fire suppression systems are critical for safety and protecting your valuable equipment.

Fitechs fire protection indirect release systems use the Fitech Tube as a Fire Detection and System Activation device, not as the discharge tube.

Once the tubing senses the fire, it then ruptures resulting in a drop of pressure causing the Indirect Valve to activate. This diverts flow from the detection tube to the larger outlet ports.

Then the fire suppression system kicks in the Extinguishing Agent is discharged from the cylinder through the diffuser nozzles, flooding the area in a proprietary mix of fire extinguishing chemicals, effectively suppressing the fire quickly and thoroughly.

This system is typically used in larger areas that require a high volume of Extinguishing Agents, to effectively suppress the fire.Multiple diffuser nozzles may be added to meet the specific application requirements.

Fitech Smart Protect system is a simple and cost effective fire protection for small enclosures. The system consists of a heat sensitive tube made of special plastic which is closed by a stainless steel fitting on each end. The tube has both storage and detection function which means that the extinguishing agent is stored directly in the tube and no additional storage device like cylinder is needed.

 

The Smart Protect system uses HFC-227ea or FK-5-1-12 which is an extremely effective, clean and people-safe extinguishing medium.

 The system operates automatically independent of any power supply by detecting higher temperatures. When the temperature in the protected enclosure rises to a critical threshold, the detection tube melts down at the point where the affecting temperature is the highest. Melting the tube creates a hole releasing the entire extinguishing agent stored in the tube onto the source of the fire.

 

The systems are supplied in 1,2,3 and 4 mtr length. The standard volume of agent ranges from 0.25 kg to 1 kg sufficient to protect enclosures with volume between 0.25 m3 and 1 m3 respectively.
